So, one of the things I've been wondering while drinking my morning tea is if Fab will send me a "Happy Birthday" text message today or not. I'm leaning towards no, because 1) he's forgotten my birthday ever year for the past seven years and 2) he's really cheap and never has any credit on his phone.
A friend of mine though is leaning towards yes though, saying he'll remember this year out of guilt. And because I don't have time to write a decent post today, I'm putting up a poll (in the side bar). So vote away, and I'll let you know the answer tomorrow!

I think it is more than sad he used to forget your b-day. I understand you still care but fortunately time heels...Even if he writes you...is not your current life more interesting?

I'm going to guess that he thought of it maybe a week or two ago, thought "oh crap this year i'd better not forget", and then forgot.

Happy Birthday !!! I've been through most of your posts and all I can say is that I'm very happy for you, you look so happy! I'm glad you didn't go straight back to the US and stay with a bitter taste of your adventures in France. It's a brand new life you are leaving in Paris and I wish you all the best!
Whoa, I think some of you are getting the wrong idea here - this is not something I'm sitting around dwelling over. It's more out of curiosity. If he does, he does, and if he doesn't, he doesn't - no big deal. Though I think Yuri probably hit the nail on the head, that is definitely something Fab would do.
Which brings me to the whole him forgetting my birthday thing - the man always had good intentions, but he is absolutely terrible with dates. He forgets everything, even really important things like for turning in his dossier for farming subsidies. His dad is exactly the same way, so I guess he learned by example. It never really bothered me that much, nobody's perfect after all!
Happy Birthday!! And check out the weather eh? it's been sunny all week, just an extra gift for you! Go have fun with people who care about you, I look forward to hearing more about those people and good times you have with them. ;-)
Hmmmm, it's kinda hard to say without knowing the guy personally. After what you've said mulitiple times about Fabs being awful with dates, I'll say "non".
I agree with brno girl, it's terrible that he has always forgotten your birthday ... grrr.
I'm not sure that my experience has been that Frenchmen all forget birthdays - my grand-pere never forgets, nor do my cousins. Jordane always remembers also. He's already trying to get me to come over to visit for my birthday in August ! So far as the maman factor, I dunno. Jordane's family always makes a big deal about birthdays, as does my family.

You know what?? I sure BET he remembered this one!! He messed up badly and I am sure he feels crappy 'cuz he is livin' in K-mart town and not in Bev. Hills... Hehehehe! No, really... I think he remembered today.. I just think if he doesn't text, it means he doesn't have the guts to call, cuz he feels guilty about what he did.. And... I sure can tell you have moved on... I am soo pleased at how well you have been doing since you left there.. You are like a new person.. It shows in your blog... The SDB who wrote the other blog...
