Get me out of here

I just accidentally found out* that Fab stayed on at the gîte with the girl instead of moving out at the end of April like we were supposed to. I am so hurt and digusted right now - he sat there and looked me in the eye and promised me he wouldn't even bring her there, let alone move in with her in OUR HOME. His excuse was that they didn't have anywhere else to go (and I guess it must have been getting expensive to keep paying for hotel rooms.)

I just keep thinking to myself "Who is this guy? This isn't the Fab I knew." I can't believe it. He has no shame. He's sleeping with her in our bed. Our bed!!! Now I'm even more happy that I threw all the sheets and everything else away. And I'm really not looking forward to having to see him tonight, but it'll hopefully be for the last time, at least until next April when I need to renew my cds.

Every time I think I'm getting over this, I just keep getting knocked right back down again.

**La Poste was supposed to be holding my mail until today, but instead, they went and delivered it all to the gîte this AM, so I had to go there to get it, and the owner told me Fab was living there with another woman so I should get the keys from them.

Ehhh doesn't the owner have any tact whatsoever?!

Sam I'm so, so sorry to read this, it's such a horrible thing to have happen to you. It makes me so angry to read about the way Fab just doesn't seem to give your feelings any thought. He is really acting like such a connard right now and I'm pretty sure in a few weeks / months / years he will be suitably ashamed. If not then he really does have no shame and doesn't deserve anything but what bad fate he will receive for this.

It is revolting the way he is acting, and I can bet you anything that even SHE, the whore with the dumbass name, won't like it. In that house she will always see you and in that house he will always see you, memories of you. If they aren't already having arguments about you then I'd be very, very surprised. Take some solace in the thought that she's almost certainly going to be jealous of you, tormenting herself with thoughts about la petite americaine and of what he had with you.

I'm so sorry Samantha, this is just horrible news. It really will be much better when you are in Paris and when you can distance yourself completely from them. I just know it. Paris will be great for you.

Big BIG hugz xxxxxxxxx

Fab sucks! I know it hurts but try and see all of this as good reasons why you broke up. No take you hot new haircut out for a test drive and find yourself a nice man and forget about this boy!

I'm so sorry Sam. How awful! That is really lame of him and a reflection of his complete lack of character. Unfortunately people like him never get very far in life and just end up spinning their wheels in their quest for immediate gratification.

It will all hit the fan in a matter of months and you might as well prepare yourself for the "I'm soooooo sorry" phone call that will follow just afterwards. I'm sure you'll be in a much better place by then and well on your way to bigger and better things and you'll be leaving him brokenhearted and in the dust. Regret is a terrible thing.

((hugs))

Unflipping believable. Things will indeed get better in time. It will take time but once you're no longer confronted with that situation on a daily basis the healing process can really start to begin. It won't be easy and it won't happen overnight but it will happen and hopefully you'll come out of it a better person a without your spirit being too badly bruised.

Stick with the plan and keep on moving forward!

You're heading for great things, keep strong:)
I'm feeling so much better, but now i'm soo bummed that i missed the chance to girl talk on the phone:(:( stupid flu! I may just have to call while you are there:)

Take care, let them live in the gite, i'm sure it has mold and they are destined for mold allergies or something awful like that! (or how about a mice infestation, something horrible that will drive them crazy)

Sam, now you have a very important emotional task to do: you MUST forgive yourself for having gotten involved with this guy. Be stern, ask yourself what you missed about him earlier, try to do so with compassion for yourself, but insist on learning from this. And forgive yourself. This was always in him, and it is not because of you somehow that he behaved this way.

You'll be out of there in no time and living in Paris and it will be easier not to be faced with all of the memories of the places you two were together.
So sorry that he's turned out to be such a shit. I really feel for you Sam.

Good luck at your appointment re: citizenship. I'm rooting for you!

Highway 101

The Bed You Made for Me

Darling were you listening when I called you late last night
Or did the sleep get in your eyes, did it blind me from your sight
Or was she lying with you was it
hard for you to speak
And did you tell her she was sleeping in the bed you made for me

And did you tell her she was sleeping in the bed you made for me

Did she like my satin sheets and did you sing her to sleep

And my pillow that she slept on did it bring her sweet dreams

Did you tell her she was sleeping in the bed you made for me?

The pillow that you made for me it was soft with feather down
And the headboard, it came from an old house that was about to be torn down
And the songs you always sang to me oh whoah to fall asleep
Did they sound the same to her in the bed you made for me?

And did you tell her she was sleeping in the bed you made for me

Did she like my satin sheets and did you sing her to sleep

And my pillow that she slept on did it bring her sweet dreams

Did you tell her she was sleeping in the bed you made for me?

Now you can take my old pillow and throw it out the door
You can buy another bed you can find another headboard
Cause I ain't gonna lie beneath those satin sheets you tore
The bed you made for me, it isn't mine anymore

And did you tell her she was sleeping in the bed you made for me

Did she like my satin sheets and did you sing her to sleep

And my pillow that she slept on did it bring her sweet dreams

Did you tell her she was sleeping in the bed you made for me?

Did you tell her she was sleeping in the bed you made for me?

Bonne continuation, Samantha.

Amitiés,
