We also had pictures taken at various sites around Paris. We started off in the Jardins de Luxembourg, as a sort of hommage to my shoebox & C's favorite park:
And then moved on down by the Seine:In front of the Institut de France:

What beautiful photos of your special day!
Thanks for sharing such a special day. Wonderful.
Love all of the pictures! You looked beautiful!
love the around town pics....great idea
I think my favorite is the one on the Pont des Arts. Congratulations once again!
Beau-ti-ful! Really special photos. You're going to have a hard time choosing which one goes on the wall?! x o x o
The pics turned out AMAZING!! I'm jealous we didn't do any of the Seine photos!
Great photos. Thanks so much for sharing. I love your pink sash and the look on your face in the top photo.
Sam,
You and C look happy and healthy. Congratulations on your wedding and all of the lovely photographs that were taken to commemorate your special day. I'm really happy for you both and wish you years of great experiences together!
You both look so happy, it's a joy to look at.
I love that you went around town to take pictures, those make some fantastic keepsakes. My two favorites have to be the black and white one at the top and the one where you're both on the bridge and not paying attention to the camera.
May you be happy together, find the strength to overcome issues together.
I'm just going to have to tell you my favorite quote when it comes to love: "Aimer, ce n'est pas se regarder l'un l'autre, c'est regarder ensemble dans la même direction."
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
very pretty! And very parisian.
That last one is so sweet. And you two look so happy and beautiful in all of them!
This is so awesome Sam! I knew about the wedding & then Keith at A Taste of Garlic reminded me to come and check out the posts. So, so much fun, and many congratulations to you & C! I was married this year (in September), too, but it was #3 for me, and not nearly as put-together as your 'do (which is TOTALLY as it should be, lol! I hope you never have to plan a third. It's kinda lame, lol. Special in its own way, but I'm still hoping you never have to!). It's fun to see a wedding done "right" and yours totally is. Just joyous. Thank you for sharing with your readers! I chose this post to comment on as I simply adored the photos you had taken. What terrific memories these will hold in them!
