Well, the Macdo sign was apparently not an anomaly because I came across this one a few towns down the road, on my way to Minneapolis today.
I showed yesterday's pic to my co-worker though, and just about died laughing when he said "Maybe it's the name of the employee of the month??". Which, given the Mexican population of W-town, may not be far from the truth!! LOL

Is it me, or, like, is that kind of dirty?
That's scary. Which private door are they talking about???

Damn, I knew I forgot to lock that back door.
I am starting to think everyone who reads this blog is an atheist!

Were I live I see signs/symbols for so many religions, jewish, muslim, buddhist, etc. Even Atheists posted signs on the busses here, "This season, who cares about God, just be good for goodness sakes!". Last night my husband and I went out to eat in a very Jewish neighborhood where we saw many jewish symbols along with a huge sign on a building "Chanukah Wonderland". I do not take offense to any of them, I am happy to see people express their faith, whatever it may be. I would rather see those "advertisements" than advertisements for shopping malls! Although I have never seen them posted on McDonalds - that would be strange to see!!! But, I guess that is just different culture/place!
So, what's the point of the sign, exactly? If he/she (god) enters through a private door, then isn't it, well...PRIVATE?
And if so, why are they posting it on a billboard???
SO bizarre!
(And I agree with Walt, it does sound kind of dirty.)
I'm enjoying seeing the surreal part of your trip. Hope you're having a good time drinking Black Russians and seeing your family. :)
