One-stop shopping

You know how there's "Kyliemac's America"? Well, I think there must be a "Ksam's Minnesota", because all this redneck stuff I've been seeing is not the Minnesota of my youth!

I'm pretty sure I've posted this pic before, Fab and I came across this store during our last trip back to MN. I still laughed when I saw it, but it was just another reminder of what happened. As much as I love my home state, being here is not unlike being in Bretagne. There are (painful) memories every where I look. I can't even eat at my favorite restaurant anymore without thinking about Fab. How crappy is that?

I guess that's one of the main things I like about Paris - unlike Brittany or MN, it's not tainted. The memories there are 100% mine and mine alone.

Hey girl, I can imagine how it could be hard, but you need to tell yourself that you're there for YOURSELF.

To enjoy time with YOUR family, to get a big refill of YOUR country, YOUR culture, to hang it with YOUR friends and catch up, to shop for things that YOU can't get here... this trip is about KSAM, not about F.

I know it's easier said than done, but I do believe that new memories will come out of this trip that will slowly help erase the previous ones...

Here's thinking of ya,
Fned.

Alright. I am from Minnesota. Born and raised there. But that is not a Minnesota I know. That looks more like Missouri or Georgia.

Where the heck are ya from? I'm guessing perhaps the segment of Minnesota close to the Dakotas. Mostly because it's the area I am most unfamiliar with!

So I'm enjoying reading the comments when I see, over to the right, that the word verification for me is: testosts.

Very close to testosterone, no? Guns and gifts. Guns as gifts. Lotsa testosts.

Blogger is messin' with our minds.

I so know what you mean, and I've blogged about this same thing. Only Paris is tainted for me, too! I'm still looking for my safe spot that is mine and mine alone. :)

Happy holidays and enjoy being with your friends and family. (lucky!)
