A busy weekend = no blogging
Leah came to stay with me for the weekend and to attend the K&K picnic, and we had a blast. I was thinking though after she left how it's funny that I'm seeing all my Breton friends more now that I live in Paris than I did when I was in Bretagne!! I guess that's what happens when you live in the middle of nowhere.
Leah and I went to the Catacombes, which was really cool since it's something I've always wanted to do. I took a bunch of pictures, but sans flash, so they're a bit dark:
Afterwards, we went to meet up with Karina at Aimee's café, L'Oisive Thé. It was mega-adorable and cosy, and if you're ever in Paris, I highly recommend that you stop by. Andie also showed up with her two children while we were there, so we got to meet yet another Parisian blogger!
And then it was off to the picnic (pics up on facebook). I unfortunately had to leave in the middle of it to go watch the children for a few hours but I was still able to catch up with everyone else afterwards. The only problem with these kinds of events is that there are so many people there that you never really have a chance to talk properly with everyone (*ahem*, FWaB, this means YOU). But luckily it's not the first nor the last picnic planned for the summer, so there will still be plenty of time to chat with everyone else later!

Kevin and I were at Aimee's just an hour or so before you! I'm so cross I missed seeing you!
We couldn't go to the picnic due to a prior engagement in my quaint village.... better luck next time!

I am so glad to finally meet you! My head is in the clouds when I'm with the kids and I always seem out of it. Let's get together sans enfants some time. And, I promise I'll try and keep up to date on things instead of be a complete idiot and totally oblivious to big things that happen in others lives. If it makes you feel any better, I've only looked at 2 blogs in the past 2 months or so. I need to get blogroll. Seriously, if you need anything, please don't hesitate.
Wow, I'm so jealous. I've been begging my boy to go to the catacombs every time we go to Paris, but we end up doing something his friends want to do instead.

That sounds like a decent weekend. I went to the Catacombes for the first time last July and really thought it was interesting.
As for the K&K picnic, I joined their group on facebook so I am hoping to make it to one this summer, could not make it to the first one since I HAD to go to Santa Barbara ;-)
