Fall Colors

I'm not sure why - maybe it's the alternating hot and col temps - but we've been seeing some extraordinary fall colors this year. The fall foliage is something I really miss from Minnesota - there are such vibrant reds, yellows and oranges every year.

But this year, we've been blessed - and while I've been frustrated with having to travel so much for work lately (I've been gone basically every week), the beautiful scenery has been helping somewhat:

Nice! I just love fall foliage, too. Can't get enough of it. Too bad it goes by so quickly.

Pretty! It's been the same here - with the hot then cold then hot then cold temps, the leaves have kept their colors for a really long time. It's nice to have such a long fall after the non-existant one last year!

It's been uncommonly colorful here too. But the leaves are gone now. Lovely photos.

Lovely photos! What part of France did you take them in?

I tried to take a few pics with my phone this year but they just didn't come out as I kept forgetting my camera :(

I agree, it really was a beautiful autumn this year.

Lovely photos! Here in the south we have almost no fall color and since I am also from Minnesota (and even though I'm not a fan of autumn) I do miss the color. This year I took a trip to the Dordogne at the end of October and it was incredible! Still not Minnesota but it satisfied my need to see the real change of seasons.

So tell me, where in Minnesota do you hail from?
