Aux Champs Elysées
This was one of the first French songs I ever heard, and I sang it late last night while walking down the Champs Elysées. I really should make an effort to head over that way more often...but after midnight, when there are no tourists.
There was still plenty of traffic though, and I'm still wondering how on Earth we managed to cross the Arc de Triomphe roundabout à pied. It was like Leap Frog, only live.
And then we got yelled at by a guard as I was taking this picture. Didn't we think the underground passageway was closed for a reason??
And what's a trip to Paris without a visit to the Eiffel tower? Though enough of the blue already people - does Sarko not know that it is so two years ago? :)

Funny, I so sing that every time I'm over there! And I was also there last night, weird :)
Oh goodness, that does sound dangerous. Though I suppose the Parisian drivers are used to idiot tourists who don't notice the underground tunnels and whatnot.
Why didn't you use the tunnel?

Every time I'm on the champs elysee I have to call out 'new york herald tribune!'. Well, in my head anyway, lol.
I didn't realise it was still blue...
Starman, like I said in my post, it was closed, otherwise we would've used it.
And Rochelle, unfortunately yep - it was only supposed to be blue for two months, but then for whatever reason they decided to keep it blue for his entire 'reign'. I'm not a fan, so I'm counting down the days until it's normal again!
