So here I am in Paris, at long last. It's strange, it doesn't even feel real. I'm having trouble writing because my mind is spinning with the million different things I need to get done.

The chambre de bonne is nice but about the size of a shoe box (like I expected). It's going to take me a while to figure out how to organize things. But on a positive note, living in a small space just means I have less to clean, right?? And the view from my window is unbeatable - there are worse things than looking at the Eiffel Tower all day : And another shot from last night, just before it lit up:

    Is that a Mosque in the foreground? If it wasn't for the Eiffel tower it could almost be Morocco.

    I feel that all the pain and turmiol that you have and are going through is worth it for just this view alone. But add the indipendance and oppotunities this time offers you , we all see a beautiful vision that lays ahead for you. Run with it girl!

    Just call your room a "garrett," it'll make the size seem romantic and adventurous rather than confining. Especially with a view like that!

    WOW!! Gorgeous view, Sam! Esp. the sunset view... probably around 10 pm or so... So nice for the sun go set late in the evening and to have a really long day in Paris... Welcome and here's to many, many wonderful days and nights in the City of Lights! --Leese
