It was designed by Julies Lavirotte in 1901 and was owned by a ceramics expert, Alexandre Bigot, who partnered with Lavirotte frequently. The scuplted woman's head in the center of the door is probably the architect's wife!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02338866736179525747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2394835278337306813.post-39421090910916997482010-10-03T20:36:27.447+02:002010-10-03T20:36:27.447+02:00That is SOMEEEEE building!! They are guide books to Paris by arrondissement and she directs you along different walking tours, where she describes different points of interests (architectural, historical, literary, etc). I'm sure that she would mention a building like that. I've always loved them and found them so useful when all the Frenchies in my entourage have proven themselves absolutely useless in this respect.Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05668499644450303275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2394835278337306813.post-58938129010291697952010-10-01T17:40:25.372+02:002010-10-01T17:40:25.372+02:00Oh I didn't tell you, that's my new apartm...Oh I didn't tell you, that's my new apartment ;)Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136483568967161966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2394835278337306813.post-72710830000147420782010-10-01T17:25:57.060+02:002010-10-01T17:25:57.060+02:00I think I walked by that building in August. very ...I think I walked by that building in August. very cool.deedeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10278468497564430383noreply@blogger.com
